Intelligent Park Assist helps the driver to park the vehicle in a line of parallel-parked or a row of perpendicular-parked vehicles, and also to exit from such parking spots. The system controls the steering, braking, and direction of travel (forwards or backwards). It also detects objects and pedestrians and avoids collisions with them.

A useful component of Intelligent Park Assist is Trained Parking, which automatically completes a parking manoeuvre in a familiar parking spot, e.g. at home. The car automatically controls the steering, braking, and direction of travel (forwards or backwards), while continuously monitoring the surrounding area, detecting objects and pedestrians, and preventing collisions with them. Trained Parking can park the car in a familiar parking space over a greater distance of up to 50 m.

Another useful component of Intelligent Park Assist is Remote Parking, which automatically parks the car in a line of parallel-parked or a row of perpendicular-parked vehicles, and also exits from such parking spots, while you stand outside the car and control it remotely via the MyŠkoda app.

Reversing Assist makes tricky manoeuvres easier by enabling the Peaq to retrace the last section of its route in reverse. The system can remember up to 50 metres, which is especially useful when backing out of narrow driveways or confined spaces. Once reverse is engaged, the function can be activated via the infotainment display for added confidence in everyday parking situations.

The Park Distance Control warns of the potential risk of colliding with obstacles during parking by drawing data from the sensors, the driving parameters, and the steering wheel angle. To avoid situations where you don’t brake in time in response to the distance alerts, the Peaq incorporates Manoeuvre Assist, a feature that stops the car to avoid a collision.

Providing you with comfort and orientation during parking manoeuvres, the rear-view camera uses a camera located in the tailgate handle. Working with the infotainment screen, the system shows the space behind the car and indicates dynamic guide lines, based on the vehicle width.

The Top Area View 360° system shows, on the infotainment display, several different angles around the vehicle, captured with the wide-angle lenses of four cameras mounted at the front and rear and on the wing-mirror covers. The system can now also create the impression of a transparent 3D body on the display, helping to make parking or manoeuvring in narrow streets easier.
