Get back to the opening page.We think of your comfort all year round. In the winter there’s no substitute for the heated windscreen, which does away with the need to scrape the glass first thing in the morning. But if you have to be outside anyway when it’s chilly, you’ll soon be warmed up by the heated steering wheel and the heated seats available in the front and back.
The driver’s seat is electrically controlled for ultimate convenience at the steering wheel. By finely adjusting the seat with the controls, you’ll be able to find your ideal position quickly and effortlessly.
The Climatronic air conditioning lets you enjoy the comfort of an automatically maintained temperature in the car. The Climatronic has two zones, so the driver and passenger can set their own temperatures. A humidity sensor reduces windshield fogging and enhances climate comfort.
The large optional panoramic roof with a sunshade delivers plenty of daylight into the interior. The glass is tinted black, so only a comfortable amount of light and heat is allowed to enter the vehicle. The glass roof has an electrically retractable sunblind that – innovatively – opens from back to front, thereby providing passengers in the rear with increased headroom and impressive views.
The Bolero and Amundsen systems can be complemented with a 405 W hi-fi audio system featuring 10 speakers, including subwoofer. You can take your pick of several predefined audio profiles (ŠKODA, Spoken Word, Classic and Rock). The sound can be adapted to suit the passengers in the car (All, Front and Driver modes).
You no longer need to be holding your key in order to open and lock your car. The KESSY (Keyless Entry, Start and exit SYstem) control unit recognises the key and the vehicle unlocks automatically when the door handles or tailgate are operated. The engine starts at the push of a button.
The KAMIQ can be fitted with a rain sensor to automatically activate and control the speed of the wipers. The light sensor activates the car’s lights automatically when the intensity of ambient light falls below a specified value (for example when driving through a tunnel or at dusk).
