WITH COLOURFUL CRAYONS

We asked a number of school children to draw their dream car. At first glance, they are what you would expect – creative crayon scrawls of fantastical automobiles. Yet they reflect two pillars of automotive design: imagination and truth.
This is most evident in a drawing made by 8 year old Tabea. You see a car in the shape of a mouse – it’s nimble and small yet on the inside it holds a world large enough for a family not just to move, but to live.

“I love this drawing because in some ways it expresses the DNA of ŠKODA: a car should be as compact as necessary on the outside, while the interior should be as generous as possible with plenty of space…”

Jozef Kabaň, ŠKODA Chief Designer
