CONNECTIVITY: AN EASIER LIFE WITH eMOBILITY
Your comfort in ŠKODA cars matters to us. We want you to find them as easy to use as possible. This includes taking advantage of the opportunities offered by ever-expanding connectivity capabilities. Individual services, as usual, can be found in ŠKODA Connect, while the connectivity in electric cars offers certain specific extra functions.
For example, you can adjust the charging time and battery charge level, set the temperature you want in the car before you set off – and do this from the comfort of home, or plan your holiday route so that it passes charging stations along the way. In short, ŠKODA Connect services enable you to get the most out of your electric car.
And it’s even easier with the MyŠKODA mobile app, which gives you an overview of your car’s status, including the battery level, and allows you to control selected ŠKODA Connect services.

CONNECTIVITY: REMOTE SERVICES
ŠKODA Connect includes Remote Services such as Remote Air Conditioning and – specific to electric vehicles – Remote Charging.
With Remote Charging, you have the option of manually starting or stopping the charging process if you have an unexpected early departure. You are kept informed of the remaining charging time and the range currently available. You can also see the current power being used for charging and the charge rate, which informs you about the range increment. With Charge Limit (which can be set from 50% to 100%), you can preserve the battery life.
With Remote Air Conditioning, you can cool or heat your car before you set off. Windscreen or seat heating can also be enabled. Quick Climatisation will help your car to reach the temperature you want before you get in the car. This function starts working immediately after the car is unlocked, so you do not need to use a mobile app (which is only used to enable or disable the function). This will come in handy before a drive in the hot summer or cold winter.

CONNECTIVITY: PLANNING
In today’s fast-paced world, it’s good to have an assistant to help you plan and organise important tasks and trips. ŠKODA Connect can help you here, too. For example, with Smart Schedules you can plan the charging and air-conditioning process (heating and cooling). The Charging Plan detects where the car is (e.g. Home, Work, Cottage) and after the cable is plugged in it starts to follow the programmed charging settings. You can use cheap off-peak electricity tariffs by choosing Preferred Charging Times. Another part of Smart Schedules is the Air-condition Plan, which ensures that the car is always prepared before a drive, with the cabin at the perfect temperature.
Charging Stations is a service allowing you to select a specific charging station on the map with ease or to run a search for the nearest station in a specific location or on an active route. With eV Trip Planner, you can get current data about charging stations on the street, including information about the service provider, the maximum power of the charging station, availability, the plug type, the address, and how far the charging station is from your current location. There is also a filter to help find the best charging station and mark it as a favourite.
